Time expands to full scale: single large sheets in A0, A1 and A2 for clock lovers. Parchment plates layer dials, Roman numerals and brass gears; the astronomical clock of Prague glows in teal and gold; numerals spiral into hypnotic vortexes; and antique advertising plates repeat a silver pocket watch over old newspaper in five colourways. The romantic side paints mantel and pendulum clocks blooming with peonies, roses, sunflowers and autumn leaves, celestial pocket watches floating in starry indigo skies, hourglasses framed by white roses, and even the old watchmaker bent over his bench. Steampunk mechanisms and grunge collages keep the workshop mood alive. Apply the rice paper to a wardrobe door, a clock cabinet, a tabletop or a canvas: one large dial sets the scene, with that warm, aged patina only rice paper can give.
